Kit Versions

Veni, vidi, vici... whati?

We've decided to give you, the user, as much freedom as possible, so there are different versions of every kit, where applicable. We hope to increase the community by catering for every budget. 

The Maxi version contains all the components to give your part the maximum, current capabilities. Maxis are currently based on the RJ45 (network connectors) and UTP cable interface.

The Midi version gets rid of some of the nice-to-have, but not currently implemented components (eg. the SD card reader and extra headers). These can be added on at a later stage, if required. These parts are also based on three and four wire cable assemblies with standard pin headers and connectors (RepRap^© style).

The Mini version is a barebones part that is fully useable, but which does not include nice-to-haves or headers. This means that you can set up whichever header and cable types you like for connectability or even hardwire everything directly.

Each product displays a bill of materials, so that you know what bits go into which kits.
